PIMÚM
Pimun is a medical device invented by Chilean designer Miss Maria Jesus Alvarez, in collaboration with neonatologist Dr. Paulina Toso. We were hired to take their conceptual design prototype to a fully functional prototype. The device’s aim is to stimulate newborn respiratory reflex.
SymbiO2
SymbiOx is a Chilean and American company developing artificial skin grafts for humans using microalgae to contribute Oxygen to cell growth. We at Sky-Walkers developed the solid-state lighting for the grafts, using high intensity and calibrated LED lighting on a proper substrate.
